Star Trek 365

An original Star Trek illustration every day for a year!

Check out http://leesargent.tumblr.com for further commentary and other scribbles!

The Romulans revealed! From Balance of Terror.
I kind of wish they kept the helmets for TNG time when the Romulans would appear more often - I like the helmets. I’m not as big a fan of the bumpy forehead Romulans.
This is a great episode, I like how the Romulans have this horrific history with the Federation and it’s tantalising!

Spock Prime!
This was the bonus extra for the JJ’verse Star Trek crew series (that unfortunately for you guys but happily for me has already been sold - the Original Series set is still available though)
If you’ve got the blu-ray of the first Star Trek film I highly recommend watching the extras for Leonard Nimoy’s last scene as Spock (though he would again reprise the role) - it’s quite emotional.

By golly, Jim, I’m beginning to think I can cure a rainy day!
Doctor McCoy proves he’s up to the task of helping out a horta.

Sad grab at attention…

If you’d like to chat about trek or other stuff feel free to hit me up over on Twitter or Facebook where I’m reasonably approachable, talky and occasionally obsessed with the importance of Batdance in the history of music.

You can also go and stare at some of my words and pics at my website.

Of course I’m more than happy to chat here!!! Though I don’t know if I’ve quite worked it all out yet!!!

Monday Morn.
Just Morn from DS9, for some reason he’s a compelling character to draw if not a little hard to creatively pose.

Kirk versus Dr Soran on Veridian III in Star Trek Generations.
Yeah Kirk fighting almost anyone is lots of fun to draw but despite the outcome I always really enjoyed the cat and mouse fight scene at the end of Generations.

Kirk faces off against Commander Kruge on the crumbling Genesis planet in Star Trek III The Search for Spock.
This is our 200th day!!!
Which is exciting, this means I’ve produced 200 pieces of Star Trek stuff so far this year (plus all the stuff I don’t count here!!). The content put aside for a second it’s really the people I’ve met through this whole endeavour that has made this a delight.
Thanks everyone!
Also I love the Kirk/Kruge fight especially when Kirk has finally… had… enough… of… him.

And Q is back in Deja Q!
I admittedly struggle with capturing DeLancie in my simplistic style but I think this pic is worth it simply for Picard and Riker’s cigars.

Admiral Kathryn Janeway dealing out the good assignments in Star Trek Nemesis.
She didn’t appear to have a coffee cup on her desk in the movie, I assume that was just an error and fixed it.
